“My drawing is of a strong independent woman holding the women's suffrage flag that I feel represents this movement in history and continues to hold true today.”
I was inspired to draw this picture, because of the strong women that came many years before my time. These women used their voice and their whole bodies by protesting, marching, lecturing, and writting to gain us the same rights as men.
