Be Inspired by the Movement

Before you begin creating your idea, learn about the Women's Suffrage Movement and think about what the first monument dedicated to Women's History on the National Mall would mean to you. Then use that information to inspire your creative process!

    Think big here! Your idea could be a drawing, a sculpture, a painting, a photograph, a collage, a poem—really anything that gets you thinking about what you think would inspire the future design of the Monument.

    Take a Photo of Your Idea and Submit by July 4!

    Once you've completed your idea, take a photo of it and submit it to us by filling out the form on this page by July 4. Your photo should be in .jpg or .png format and no larger than 10MB.
