Anna Laymon

President and Chief Executive Officer

Anna Laymon was born and raised in East Tennessee, where she was surrounded by faith, hard work, and service. Today, she brings those qualities to work as President & CEO of the Women’s Suffrage National Monument Foundation.

Anna’s deep expertise in women’s history and her dedication to American stories were forged during her time as Executive Director of the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission (WSCC) and as the Director of Partnerships and Public Programs for the National Woman’s Party. At the WSCC, she was the youngest woman in American history to lead a federal agency, ensuring that women’s contributions to our American democracy were celebrated nationwide.

Anna is a proud mother of two, wife of an Air Force Veteran, and graduate of Rhodes College and the University of Cincinnati.
