Partnering for a Monumental Legacy

League of Women Voters + Women's Suffrage National Monument

The Women’s Suffrage National Monument will be the FIRST monument on the National Mall dedicated to American women’s history AND the FIRST monument on the National Mall built arm-in-arm with the League of Women Voters. With a founding gift of $350,000 from the League of Women Voters, we’re working to raise $1,00,000—one contribution at a time.

The League of Women Voters (LWV) traces its direct lineage to 1920, when suffrage leader Carrie Chapman Catt transformed the National American Woman Suffrage Association—founded in 1890 by Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Lucy Stone—into the League of Women Voters to educate millions of newly enfranchised women.

Your gift today ensures League of Women Voters’ monumental impact continues for generations to come. Join us as we make history!
