“PLEASE, do not forget the millions of immigrant women! They arrived to this country speaking another language, raised their families and quietly became and are an important fabric of the America Experience. My 95 year old immigrant mother is one of them. She married my military Dad and came to TEXAS, USA in 1956! Last month, I took her to our local polling place at the mall to vote early... which she has done (voted) my entire life as long as I can recal. She not only raised my brothers and I with my Dad, but she shared her unique brand of humanity with everyone and still does.”

Even though I was born and grew up in a different country, America is my home. I am an American!
