“Her name is Athena and she represents what women's suffrage history means to mean. As Susan B. Anthony stated "Organize, Agitate, Educate-Must be our War Cry." Athena educated all with her sharp tactical mind in battle. Her courage agitated others to organize and fight for what they believe in. And when you agitate and educate you lead others to organize to speak and protect your cause. Her shield represents those tennents of organization, agitation and education but most importanly calling others to unite (WAR) for a common cause.”
I am a Desert Storm veteran. I had the priviledge to serve with women from all walks of life who impacted me with their courage to organize, agitate and educate others. Those are the skills that kept me alive
