A Little Valentine with a Big History

During the suffrage movement, women used postcards and Valentine-style cards as a powerful way to spread ideas, win hearts, and build momentum for the vote. This valentine was custom designed for the Women’s Suffrage National Monument Foundation and inspired by the real ones sent by suffragists.
