Ginnie Sebastian Storage brings exemplary leadership experience to her role of President General of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She has been involved with DAR for more than 40 years, and has served in multiple chapter, state, and national positions, as well as in multiple leadership positions in the Children of the American Revolution national organization. She assumed the duties of the position of President General of the National Society in June 2025 and will see the organization through the United States’ historic 250th anniversary celebrations.
Exemplifying the DAR’s commitment to historic preservation, Mrs. Storage has been a staunch advocate for the preservation of historic properties and collections nationwide. As Virginia State Regent, she committed significant funds to the preservation of Virginia records and raised more than $350,000 to underwrite a room on the first floor of the replica of George Washington’s Boyhood Home. She has also been a vocal supporter of the Mary Washington Monument, honoring the influential mother of our nation’s first President. Mrs. Storage has dedicated her professional life to human resources and has brought this expertise into every role she has held both within and outside of the DAR. She has also committed to many different community service organizations, giving back to society through service and philanthropy.
Born and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Mrs. Storage holds a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Averett University. She still resides in Fredericksburg with her husband of over 30 years, Mark. Together they have one daughter, Mackie, who carries on her mother’s commitment to historic preservation, education, and patriotism through DAR membership and various societal leadership positions.
