Statement on the Passing of First Lady Rosalynn Carter
With the entire world community, the Women’s Suffrage National Monument Foundation mourns the loss of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, who dedicated her life to the service of others.
Prior to her passing, Mrs. Carter served as an Honorary Chair of the Foundation with her fellow First Ladies, who together share a vision of a National Mall that permanently weaves women’s triumphs into the monumental fabric of the nation’s capital.
We are honored by Mrs. Carter‘s support and our work will continue to honor her extraordinary legacy.
