“My idea is for the monument to go into a room and you see the Declaration of Sentiments on a wall and other famous quotes from suffragists then the monument splits into 3 ways. The way on the right has women holding signs saying Votes for Women. Then farther along there are 2 jail cells with women in them. The middle has statues of famous women like Susan B Anthony,Elizabeth Cady Stanton,Alice Paul, and Ida B Wells. The left has statues of women holding a sign saying “Mr president how long must women wait for liberty”and farther on there is a suffragist and a boy and the boy is throwing food at the suffragist. Then at the end there is a room where there is a suffragist holding a lantern and girls standing around her from different time periods like a girl from that time and a girl from the Great Depression and world war 1 and world war 2 and a girl from this time and so on and the suffragist is lighting their lantern”
