“One of the biggest achievements for women that set the tone for women’s rights was our right to vote. I created an image of a women pushing through the suppression of men holding a voting ballot. I call it “make way for women” or “the great push” I’m picturing broken handcuffs around the women’s arm that’s holding the ballot and shackles around her ankles while the men hold her back.”
