I am excited about the monument because it isn't fair that girls aren't on the National Mall.
“Re: Women’s Suffrage National Monument Accessible, Inviting, Personal I see women waiting to place their ballots in the ballot box. Certainly the leaders of women’s suffrage, though perhaps including some typical American women from various walks of life. The figures of the women should be life size and ground level. Visitors should be able to approach them, touch them, and join with them. Perhaps a hand is open to be grasped, perhaps there is space in the line to join the women. People should feel welcome and inspired to become part of the monument, and part of democracy. All are welcome, all have a voice that needs to be heard, all have a part to play.”
