I am excited about the monument because it isn't fair that girls aren't on the National Mall.
“I suggest creating a series of sculptures that depict the participation of a variety of women, men, and girls in the suffrage movement overtime, that is, women, men, and girls of color as well as white women, men, and girls. As a time frame, I suggest focusing on the 19th and 20th centuries. For a style, I suggest something dynamic (get a good artist.) See the attached file for further elaboration.”
Knowing the stories of the aforementioned women and men, many of whom I cover in one of my courses.
